Trisha with her Mother

# The latest buzz doing rounds in the industry is that Trisha would be engaged in a couple of months and would get married in december.

Speaking on the issue, Trisha says "I am not getting engaged nor am I getting married to anyone in the near future. If this crazy rumour was true I would first share it with my fans as I have nothing to hide, I haven't met my Mr. Right yet."

# Trisha recently replaced Rani Mukherjee as the Brand Ambassador of Fanta India. She is the brand ambassador of Scooty Pep+, for which she has replaced Preity Zinta. She is also the brand ambassador for Vivel Di Wills, a product by ITC Limited. In 2011, She has replaced Asin in Fairever fairness cream commercial.

# In 2010, Krishnan collaborated with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) in issuing a public appeal to domesticate stray dogs and not crave for pedigreed foreign breeds.

Controversies:

The first controversy being in the year 2004, when a nude video clip of the actress taking a shower was circulated over the Internet. Trisha came in public along with her mother Uma Krishnan in support with the Cyber Cell and finally proved the video was not filmed on her.

The second controversy being the latest one in 2010, in which it was reported that Trisha is involved in drugs controversy which also involved her friend Sidney Sladon. Later on it was found out that the channels have just dragged her name for popularity and hence was sued for this attempt.

Personal Quotes:

“Money is not everything but without it we can't do anything in today's world.”

“I love dogs and cats. My desire is have a kennel for the stray dogs and cats of my area and feed them. Two dogs and a cat comes home and we feed them. It gives immense pleasure to watch them.”

“I know how to take success and flops in the same spirit. When a film turns out to be a super hit, it's indeed great joy but when some films flop I'm not too disappointed either.”

“ Follow your dreams. At the same time please have an alternative. If films do not happen, you must have something where you can fall back upon.”

“With some people whom Im very close to I get very touchy about something they say in a lighter vein .I take it seriously and dont talk to them and thats very wrong. They keep asking me what did they do and I dont give them an explanation. I think its very stupid and very immature.”

“My father holds a senior post in the hotel and there is nothing wrong about working. In fact I'm proud of him. This story is baseless and I don't have to show the world my affection towards my dad through an explanation.”

“To be able to do mature roles, your body language and your face should appear mature. Does my face suit a moms role? Do I look that aged? Can I be made to look so, in spite of the best make-up?”

“My audiences support thats what I really care about, and I am sure I have it in abundance. The Telugus take me as a Telugu girl, and the Tamil treat me as one of them.”

“I okay a movie only if the producer is happy about my remuneration. I dont even mind coming down a little, if the role is a challenging one. Anyway, thats between me and the producer.”

“I want to start a restaurant. Thats good business in India. My restaurant will be a youths paradise. Not now, of course. Perhaps five or six years later.”

“Trisha is an artiste capable of doing any role, is the recognition I wish to have.”

“There won't be any opposition from my parents if I fall in love with someone.”

“I am a typical urban city bred girl.”

“I am friendly and easy going and take all things connected to film industry lightly. I don't go out of the way to charm people or anything.”

“We were picturising a song sequence near Warrangal, a forest area, which was a high security area. And during one of the takes, in a slushy marshy place something crawled into my skirt. I could not yell nor run away but due to presence of mind I just caught something along with my skirt and smiled till the shot was over. After that I just ran and saw that it was a small snake that was inside my skirt. I can never forget the incident!”
